Discover Scuba Diving

Discover what you're missing! An introduction to scuba diving in a highly supervised and relaxed atmosphere - This short programme starts with a classroom session introducing you to scuba diving and the diving equipment that you will be using. From here we will move to an open water dive site where you will complete a scuba dive under the direct 'one to one' supervision of your instructor.

PADI Scuba Diver
PADI Scuba Diver CourseThe PADI Scuba Diver course is ideal for individuals who would prefer to do their scuba diving whilst accompanied by a PADI Divemaster or Instructor. It is a sub-course within the full Open Water Diver course and is ideal for those who want to start their diver training without making a commitment to the full Open Water Course (PADI Scuba Divers can upgrade to PADI Open Water Divers anytime after certification). The course consists of self study, academic sessions with your Instructor, 3 confined water sessions & 2 open water sea dives [either from a boat or shore] where you'll put into practice the skills you've learnt whilst you explore the underwater world. On successful completion of the course you'll be awarded the PADI Scuba Diver certification card which is recognised worldwide.

PADI Open Water Diver
PADI Open Water CourseThe Open Water Diver course is a full entry-level certification that allows you to plan and conduct your own dives independent of an Instructor or Divemaster. The course can be completed in as little as 3 to 4 days allowing time for pleasure diving, pursuing other interests or simply enjoying the rest of your holiday. The course consists of self study, academic sessions with your Instructor, confined water pool sessions and 4 open water sea dives where you'll put into practice the skills you've learnt whilst exploring the underwater world of the Atlantic Ocean. In addition you have to complete a multiple-choice final exam and a 200-metre swim or 300-metre snorkel swim with mask & fins. On successful completion of the course you'll be awarded the Open Water Diver certification card which is recognised worldwide.

Alternatively you have the option of using the power of the Internet to learn your theory prior to completing confined & open water training in Tenerife
(this does involve a seperate fee payable direct to PADI)

 

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
PADI Advanced CourseBy completing the deep and navigation core dives along with any 3 elective adventure dives you'll be able to dive even deeper whilst gaining further supervised dive experience. The flexibility of the course allows you to choose the dives that interest you and to sample activities under the guidance of a PADI Instructor. The Adventure Dives you choose may count as the first dive of the related PADI Specialty Diver course. The course consists self study, 5 Open Water sea dives and the completion of 5 correlating knowledge reviews. On successful completion of the course you'll be awarded the Advanced Open Water Diver certification card which is recognised worldwide.

PADI Rescue Diver
PADI Rescue CourseThe PADI Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. Rescue divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well being of others. This is why the PADI Rescue Diver rating is a prerequisite for all PADI leadership training (Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor). This course will ready you to anticipate and help prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies using a variety of techniques. The course consists of self study theory, academic sessions and both confined (open water) and open water water sessions comprising of 10 rescue exercises and 4 rescue scenarios. In adddition you have to complete and pass a multiple-choice final exam. On successful completion of the course you'll be awarded the PADI Rescue Diver certification card which is recognised worldwide.

Duration: 4 days
Prerequisite certification: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or qualifying certification, completion of a sanctioned CPR course in the previous 2 years
Additional Requirement:Proof of 20 or more logged dives.

Emergency First Response
EFR Course
This course teaches people how to provide emergency care for someone in need. The course makes learning easy by providing a non stressful environment in which participants practice and apply emergency care skills. The course is based on internationally recognised medical guidelines for emergency care and covers the subjects of CPR, First Aid and the practical use of an External Automated Defibrillator.

PADI Divemaster
PADI Divemaster CourseThe PADI Divemaster course is the first professional level diving qualification and is one of the finest programs of diver education in existence. The course is normally a prerequisite to work as a Dive Guide abroad.
During the time you spend with us you will you learn how to organise and conduct diving activities, develop your diving skills, gain a professional-level understanding of dive theory and assist divers in training. You will spend time with your instructor receiving hands on training and assisting with diving courses and guiding dives, an invaluable practical experience not to be missed.

Prerequisite Certification: AOW and PADI Rescue Diver or qualifying certifications, completion of a sanctioned CPR & first aid course in the previous 2 years
Additional Requirements: 20 logged dives to start training and 60 logged dives prior to certification, At least 18 years of age, Medical certificate
